          Masayuki Sato (Ph.D., Kyoto University, Japan) is a Professor at the Graduate School of Human Development and Environment at Kobe University, Japan. His research interests include the economic valuation of the ecosystem and urban ecosystem services in particular. He is also interested in the relationship between human cognition and behavior and the conservation of the environment and ecosystem. His work has been published in People and Nature, Urban Forestry & Urban Greening, Forest Policy & Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organizations, Environment, Development & Sustainability, and other highly respected journals.
