About the Conference
We are excited to announce the 8th International Conference on Business and Economic Management (ICBEM 2026) with the theme: AI-Empowered Green Transition and Sustainable Management. Artificial Intelligence technologies are significantly transforming the landscape of business and the economy. This conference aims to explore the role of AI in advancing environmentally responsible practices in response to our changing climate.
From optimizing energy consumption and distribution to adapting food supply chains, AI technologies are becoming essential in tackling climate change, resource depletion, agricultural challenges, and manufacturing advancements, among other issues. The ICBEM 2026 team invites scholars, industry professionals, and thought leaders to contribute their research and insights on this transformative theme.
We welcome submissions offering innovative perspectives, empirical research, and practical case studies. The topics of interest are broad, including, but not limited to, the following:

Climate Action and Emissions Reduction: mitigating climate change and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from various sectors

Just Transition: Ensuring that the transition to a green economy benefits all, including workers in fossil fuel industries, through retraining, social support, and new economic opportunities.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Addressing the broader goals of sustainable development, including poverty reduction, food security, health, and education, while promoting environmental sustainability.

Energy Transition: Shifting from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and hydro, along with improving energy efficiency in buildings and industry.

Circular Economy: Implementing practices that minimize waste and pollution by reusing, recycling, and repurposing materials throughout the product lifecycle.

Sustainable Agriculture: Promoting farming practices that reduce environmental impact, improve soil health, and ensure food security.

Transportation and Mobility: Developing sustainable transportation systems, such as electric vehicles, public transportation, and cycling infrastructure, to reduce emissions and congestion.

Green Finance: Encouraging investments in green technologies and sustainable projects by mobilizing private and public capital.

Environmental Policy and Regulation: Developing and implementing policies and regulations that promote sustainable practices and reduce environmental pollution.

Water Management: Addressing water scarcity, ensuring access to clean water, and managing water resources sustainably.
We welcome contributions from academia, industry, and government that reflect a broad range of methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research, case studies, theoretical analyses, and interdisciplinary approaches.
Submission Guidelines
To be considered for inclusion in the conference, authors are invited to submit the full papers will be due by March 5, 2026. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of experts, and the notification of acceptance will be due by April 13, 2026. The selected papers will be presented at the conference, scheduled for May 25~27, 2026 in Chihlee University of Technology, New Taipei City, Taiwan.
This conference is supported by Ministry of Education, the registration fee is waived.

Presentation
All accepted papers can be presented orally or by poster subject to the following guidelines:
(1) Oral presentations are given at the venue of the event.
(2) Oversea presenters can deliver a verbal presentation or virtually if preferable.
(3) Conference research poster will be accepted to the maximum of 10.
Publication Opportunities
All abstracts of accepted papers will be published in the conference proceeding. In addition, the following journals, which co-organize with ICBEM, have expressed interest in publishing papers from our conference:
